NVH Acoustics Lab Technician HQ

Adler Pelzer USA Careers•Troy, MI

About The Position

Adler Pelzer Group is seeking an NVH Acoustics Lab Technician to support noise and vibration testing of automotive acoustic sound-package materials at its North American headquarters in Troy, Michigan. The role involves selecting, installing, and calibrating instrumentation and data-acquisition equipment; preparing test setups; conducting tests; and acquiring, analyzing, and managing test data. The technician works with the NVJ Lab Leader, R&D engineers, other laboratory technicians, and external test customers to execute laboratory test plans and deliver results on time. The role also provides hands-on operational support for chassis-dynamometer vehicle evaluations; training will be provided. The position requires ongoing physical activity, including walking, sitting, standing, bending, lifting, twisting, and working in tight spaces within acoustic chambers. Materials of approximately 20 pounds must be lifted during setup. Work may involve exposure to high noise levels, and safety equipment—including gloves, ear protection, and eye protection—is required. The posting describes competitive pay and benefits, with a salary range of $57,000–$87,000; specific pay depends on experience and other qualifications. Adler Pelzer Group is a worldwide designer, engineer, and manufacturer of acoustic and thermal components and systems for the automotive sector. The company describes itself as an equal opportunity employer and participates in the E-Verify Program.
