About The Position

The Nutritional Services Technician prepares and serves meals with high standards of sanitation, safety, and confidentiality, including patient and cafeteria meals, while operating food service equipment and managing related tasks. This role involves handling patient orders, assembling trays, communicating dietary needs, maintaining records, and ensuring food safety protocols. The technician is also responsible for opening and closing the cafeteria, serving customers, managing vendor supplies, and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Ability to work 8 hours per week
  • Ability to work Second Shift (4:00 PM - 7:30 PM)
  • Ability to work Every Other Weekend
  • Extensive standing
  • Full range of body motion including but not limited to, standing, walking, sitting, hand and finger dexterity, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and arms, etc.
  • Some heavy lifting
  • Ability to lift weight or exert force
