Nutritional Services Aide
About The Position
Dove Healthcare is hiring a Nutritional Services Aide at its Superior location. As a member of the Food Service team, the aide helps provide residents with nourishing, appealing, and well-balanced meals. The role includes preparing meals, snacks, and nourishments; serving food according to portion-control procedures; and serving food from a steam table or transporting food delivery carts to resident areas while checking food temperatures as required. The aide also builds relationships with residents and helps make mealtime enjoyable. Paid training is provided, and full-time and part-time openings are available.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals, snacks, and nourishments in accordance with sanitary regulations.
- Serve food in accordance with established portion-control procedures.
- Serve food from a steam table and/or transport food delivery carts to resident areas.
- Check food temperatures as required.
- Build relationships with residents and help make mealtime something to look forward to.
