About The Position

The Nutritional Service Associate will work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend from 6:30 AM to 7 PM within St. Mary's Hospital in Athens, GA. Previous dietary or restaurant experience is a must, with at least one year of experience required. The aide will assist in the preparation, service, and cleaning required for the patient tray line and the cafeteria food service. This role requires an understanding of proper food preparation according to recipes, a concern for cleanliness, adherence to routine work schedules, and following System and departmental operating procedures. The associate must be able to complete assigned tasks, exercise initiative, use sound judgment in daily work, and prioritize and correct problems as needed.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience required.
• Previous dietary or restaurant experience is a must.

Nice To Haves

• HS diploma is desirable but not required.
• Previous experience in a hospital or extended care facility is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, service, and cleaning for the patient tray line and cafeteria food service.

• Maintain cleanliness.

• Carry through to completion assigned and planned tasks.
