The Nutrition Team Lead assists department leadership in advising and guiding department employees to achieve the highest possible quality product in a safe and efficient manner by ensuring the safe operation of the associated equipment and/or processes, the quality of incoming raw materials, the quality of the outgoing products in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safe work practices. This role involves ensuring team members are trained and following safety procedures, assisting in meeting production metrics, performing equipment duties, monitoring inventory, documenting operational changes, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. The position also requires maintaining clear communication with other departments and ensuring product meets food safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.
