About The Position

Accel at Willow Bend in Plano, Texas, is hiring a Nutrition Services Manager to lead the facility’s Nutrition Services Department. The manager will lead the food services team in creating a positive dining experience for residents and help support the facility’s mission to provide clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services that meet the wants, needs, and expectations of patients and residents. The role is responsible for maintaining regulatory and facility standards, clinical documentation, and staffing and budget compliance. The position involves planning, directing, or coordinating dining services activities and supporting food service operations in a long-term and rehabilitative care facility.

Requirements

Previous management or supervisory experience.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Flexible and able to set priorities with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Certified Dietary Manager or Registered Dietitian preferred.
Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, or coordinate activities of the dining services department.
Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving.
Coordinate assignments of cooking personnel.
Maintain standards for personnel performance and customer service.
Maintain regulatory and facility standards, clinical documentation, and staffing and budget compliance.
