Nutrition Services Manager
About The Position
A well-established hospital located near Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a full-time, permanent Nutrition Services Manager to join their team! This role offers a Mon-Fri schedule and the opportunity to work with a great nutrition leadership and administration team. The manager will lead the coordination and direction of the Nutrition Services Department, overseeing nutritional support for patients, employees, and guests. Responsibilities will include setting and implementing policies and procedures that guide cafeteria management, food preparation, budgeting, purchasing, staff development, and safety practices.
Requirements
- Certified Dietary Manager or Dietetic Technician registration with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, if required by state or regulatory agency
- Active membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, if mandated by state or regulatory agency
- Thorough knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, administration, and operation of hospital food services
- Knowledge of all H.A.C.C.P. guidelines
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in food service, preferably within healthcare
