Nutrition Coordinator
About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Nutrition Coordinator to join their Patient Food Service team at Baptist Jacksonville. This is a full-time opportunity with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends. The role is responsible for patient safety and satisfaction by ensuring accurate, timely, and temperature-appropriate meal delivery. Nutrition Coordinators are assigned to specific units, assisting patients with menu selections, and managing meal tray assembly, delivery, and retrieval. Requirements
- Less than 1 year Customer Service Experience Required

- High School Diploma/GED Preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in understanding their menu selections and ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements or restrictions.
- Obtain patient preferences and modify tray identifiers accordingly.
- Support and promote patient satisfaction.
- Participate with a multidisciplinary team to improve quality care/services to patients.
- Determine menu alternatives for patients with food allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences, or when patients inquire about additional selections.
- Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection in a timely and accurate manner.
- Deliver and retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times.
- Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel in a timely manner, following department procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned.
