About The Position
The Nutrition Clerk supports Union Health’s Nutrition Department in providing compassionate, high-quality care. The role helps ensure patients are cared for according to their dietary needs and restrictions and may include a range of food service duties based on facility needs. The position works in a fast-paced environment and requires attention to sanitation, teamwork, and timely service to patients and customers.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Use proper sanitation techniques related to infection control.
- Sanitize work areas and carts before and after use with approved disinfectant.
- Clean spills and keep the work area neat and organized.
- Use appropriate sanitation practices when preparing food, including wearing gloves and avoiding contact with the face or hair.
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks thoroughly and on schedule, and sign the daily checklist after completing them.
- Report to work well groomed, wearing a clean, neat uniform and proper hair covering.
- Wash hands frequently throughout the day.
- Work with team members to serve patients and customers in a timely manner.
- Assemble supplies and equipment needed for assigned duties.
- Know and follow hospital and department policies and procedures and be familiar with general information.
