Carolina Meadows is looking for an experienced Nutrition Care Manager to lead our Skilled Nursing Facility's Dining Services Team. This position requires at least 5-7 years of experience in leading a dietary nutrition team. This position is primarily responsible for Pines dining services and nutritional care in the absence of the Registered Dietitian for the Pines operations in Dining Services department. Direct supervision and evaluation of dietary employees and resident satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site leadership position. The Nutrition Care Manager will monitor and ensure our Health Center dining services operations are in compliance with community policies and procedures and state and federal regulations. They will also perform the necessary clerical functions related to operations and resident care for the Health Center Dining Services. This role is the leader and manager of assigned direct reports; ensuring productivity, efficiency and accuracy in the work performed.

Requirements

  • Five to seven years supervisory experience in health care and nutrition
  • Knowledgeable in federal and state regulations pertaining to healthcare and nutrition
  • Experience in budget management, team leadership, and performance management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Member of the Dietary Manager Associate and Certified Sanitation Manager

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in healthcare, long-term care, or senior living preferred
