Nutrition Assistant
About The Position
The Mount Mansfield Unified Union School District is seeking a Nutrition Team member to assist at Richmond Elementary School. The role supports food preparation, meal service, cleanup, and other duties requested by the chef/manager. The Nutrition Assistant maintains food safety standards, prepares foods as needed, and serves meals to students and staff in a friendly manner. The district seeks a team player who takes initiative, provides excellent service, and collaborates with school staff to provide students with nutritious, healthy meals. This role offers an opportunity to work in a school environment with students and staff.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to bend, carry, and lift supplies.
- Ability to walk for long periods of time.
- Team-oriented approach and initiative.
- Ability to provide excellent service to students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, serving, and cleanup.
