Assists Dietitians in Food Service. Provides direct and indirect patient care as determined/delegated by a Registered Dietitian (RD). The care provided is commonly routine, i.e., delivering and picking up patient menus, assisting patients with menu selections and editing menus according to the diet prescription. Processes diet changes from nursing services and maintains census record. Checks accuracy of patient trays. Modifies menus based on patients food patterns, tolerances, and preferences.
