Under the direction of the Nutrition Lead and Kitchen Manager, the Nutrition Assistant assists with meal preparation and service, operates kitchen equipment, performs cashiering duty point of sale (POS) operations and cleaning and sanitation tasks. This position upholds high standards of customer service, food safety, and cleanliness to create a positive dining experience for students and staff while ensuring compliance with local, state and federal meal pattern requirements.
