About The Position

The Nutrition Assistant is part of MultiCare’s Nutrition Services team and helps ensure patients, families, and visitors have positive nutritional health care experiences. The role works collaboratively with Nursing staff, doctors, Clinical Dietitians, Dietetic Technicians, and other department staff to support optimal patient nutrition care. It performs routine functions including meal processing, menu modification, and tray accuracy, while providing outstanding customer service to a diverse population in alignment with MultiCare’s organizational values.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least one year of food service experience.
• Washington State Food Handler's Card.

Nice To Haves

• Two-year degree in Nutrition preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a direct patient care setting preferred.
• At least six months of experience in a customer service-oriented position preferred.

Responsibilities
