The Nutrient Manufacturing Associate is responsible for operating equipment and performing tasks that support the various business needs in manufacturing. This may vary and includes (but is not limited to) coating, Roller Compaction, blending, milling, pressing and the cleaning of various manufacturing equipment - as well as weekly majors. Swing Shift 2 3pm- 11:30pm

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs of raw material.
  • Must be able to push cones of raw materials over 330 lbs
  • Must be able to stand long periods of time.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Requires medium to heavy work, including continuous physical exertion such as frequent bending, lifting or climbing up ladders and stairs.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and check materials to be used in the production.
  • Verifies that the correct materials and the correct lots are being pulled.
  • Weighs all material needed, checking all materials and weights. Completes paperwork.
  • Operates equipment to move materials.
  • Loads mixer and blends material for required amount of time.
  • Empties mixture into proper container.
  • Weighs completed formulas to accurate measures.
  • Operates drying equipment as per established procedures.
  • Operate forklift (mount & dismount) & operate electric power jack.
  • Advances paperwork to its proper place.
  • Must be able to identify all material used.
  • Consistently promotes and maintains a harmonious/productive team effort.
  • Contributes to the department team effort by helping the team achieve the results needed.
  • Reports to work on a daily basis to meet customer and production goals, as well as, comply with company attendance policy.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Assists in other departments as needed and works closely with all other departments.
