About The Position

The Nut Former position involves operating nut form production equipment to produce quality parts. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to use precision measurement tools. The position is available on 1st Shift (4AM-230PM) and 2nd Shift (230PM-1AM), with potential for Saturday overtime. Salary ranges from $21.91-$37.25, depending on individual qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience running nut form production machinery (nationals/jern yao)
• Proficient use of precision measurement tools (mics, calipers, gages, etc.)
• Ability to read blueprints and work orders
• Must be able to read/write in English
• Must have to ability to stand, lift, bend, kneel for duration of shift
• Must be able to work in non-temperature controlled environment
• Must have the ability to work with and around heavy metal materials

Responsibilities

• Performs operation process for nut form production equipment
• Utilizes drawings, work orders, and blueprints to produce quality parts
• Performs regular in process inspections, utilizing precision measurement equipment as needed (micrometers, calipers, gages, etc.)
• Upholds site safety standards and standard operating procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and equipment malfunctions
• Completes required production logs and other related documentation with accuracy
• Communicate urgent needs related to tooling and troubleshooting
• May be required to participate in regular department training and/or conduct training with new department employees
