About The Position
Maine Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Unit Secretary to support its Labor & Delivery team. The role helps keep the unit running smoothly by welcoming patients and families, coordinating communication, supporting nursing staff with clerical tasks, and assisting with daily unit operations. The position is 36 hours per week on the night shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Current BLS certification preferred or may be required based on location.
- One year of experience in a hospital or health care setting preferred.
