Our state-of-the-art services, amenities, and excellent staff make Kahl Home a premier nursing facility in the Quad Cities. We are seeking to hire a Nursing Unit Manager - Registered Nurse - RN.
Requirements
- Current licensure in the State of IA as an RN - Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in nursing supervision or nursing management in Long-Term Care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing and supervising the implementation of the resident care plan.
- Regular rounding on nursing units to supervise staff, check residents, greet all new admissions.
- Ensure staff follow facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor and assure that incidents, accidents and resident/staff complaints are reported and documented correctly.
- Facilitate communication between licensed nurses and providers, responsible parties or outside vendors.
- Assist in ensuring adequate staffing for the nursing department.
- Assist in direct resident care and work as a staff nurse, as necessary.
