Nursing Training Coordinator
About The Position
Bestica is hiring a Nursing Training Coordinator to provide their services at Wright Patterson Airforce Base located in Dayton, OH. The 711th Human Performance Wing (711 HPW), headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, is the first human-centric warfare wing to consolidate human performance research, education and consultation under a single organization. Established under the Air Force Research Laboratory, the 711 HPW is comprised of the Airman Systems Directorate (RH), and the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM). The Wing delivers unparalleled capability to the Air Force through a combination of world class infrastructure and expertise of its diverse workforce of military, civilian and contractor personnel encompassing 75 occupational specialties including science and engineering, occupational health and safety, medical professions, technicians, educators, and business operations and support.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted licensed Registered Nurse.
- Can substitute with Paramedic with national registry.
- Current Basic Life Support and Advanced Life support Certifications.
- Requires a minimum of bachelor’s degree in nursing, and at least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills are required.
- Proficiency with word processing software, PowerPoint and SharePoint applications is required.
- Knowledge of emergency room patient management and trauma health principles.
- Proven experience in an educational setting, preferably in the healthcare or medical field.
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable Air Force and professional standards is mandatory.
- Knowledge of military and civilian guidelines that govern policy and procedure.
- Successful completion of USAFSAM's and Department's orientation programs is required (After 60 days of hire).
- Contractor must have a Non-Disclosure Agreement in place with their company, and the company must provide a copy to the Program Manager of this task order.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in education specialty is preferred but not required.
- Prior instructional experience (e.g., Tactical Combat Casualty Care, etc.) highly desirable.
- Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) such as Blackboard, Genius, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the Department of Defense's training and educational policies and standards.
