About The Position
The Nursing Supervisor supervises and coordinates patient care across the nursing units. The role includes problem solving, ensuring adequate staffing, monitoring employee performance, providing appropriate feedback about work performance and behavior, and interpreting, implementing, and enforcing hospital policy. In the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, when applicable, the Nursing Supervisor assumes responsibility for nursing administrative decisions. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state where the hospital resides.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Two years of medical-surgical nursing experience or equivalent is required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Long Term Acute Care or rehabilitation nursing experience.
- Management-level experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate patient care for the nursing units.

- Interpret, implement, and enforce hospital policy.
- Assume responsibility for nursing administrative decisions in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, if applicable.
