This position oversees the administrative responsibility of the Hospital in the absence of the Administrator. As a part of the Interdisciplinary Team working within the Riddle Hospital, the leadership is an integral part of the Patient Experience. Responsibilities include managing the nursing service, ensuring the highest quality care is being provided to patients, and assigning staff to the appropriate clinical area based on their skill mix. Employees are encouraged to attend MLH Education & Development Classes, receive ongoing feedback and career development from their Manager, and can become engaged by joining hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, evidence-based research projects, and mentoring new staff.
