About The Position

Outpatient MAT Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) seeking an LPN/LVN Nurse Supervisor for full-time hours, Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:30 PM. Our team at Woodstock Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment for Opioid Use Disorder. The LPN Nursing Supervisor directs patient care, facilitates workflows, serves as a staff resource, and provides team leadership in an outpatient setting, maintaining professional nursing standards.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN)
  • Minimum of 2+ years related nursing practice
  • Current LPN/LVN license in the state of Georgia.
  • Current CPR certification where required by state regulation.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience preferred, unless otherwise required by State or Licensing requirements.
  • Experience in behavioral health/addiction recovery environment (inpatient or outpatient).
  • Previous nursing experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, such as outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities.
  • Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including the safe handling, administration, and documentation of methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
  • Experience in medication dispensing, monitoring patient dosing, and observing for adverse reactions or medication interactions.
  • Understanding of nursing best practices related to substance use treatment, including trauma-informed care and harm reduction principles.
  • Accurate and timely documentation of medication administration records (MARs), patient vitals, and incident reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., DEA, 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards) related to controlled substances and patient care.
  • Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, counselors, case managers, and support staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the Medication Room is in full compliance with all facility or clinic policies, Federal and State Laws and Regulations.
  • Supervising daily clinical operations for staff, making staff assignments, and creating/updating schedules.
  • Supervising and evaluating work activities of nursing, technical, clerical, service, or maintenance staff.
  • Ensuring medical records are in compliance with facility or clinic policies, Federal and State Laws and Regulations.
  • Overseeing quality assurance activities and compliance with operational standards.
  • Participating in program development, operating policy and procedure development/implementation, and promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Assisting with the recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff.
  • Administering medications per physician/provider orders, accurately documenting medication administration, and ensuring accurate count of controlled substance medication administration.
  • Performing blood and other specimen collection and processing and reading test results.
  • Transporting medication to other locations and/or working on a CTC Mobile Unit, if required.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
