Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN), at least 3 years of experience in a medical or residential setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative supervision to all nurses & technicians in alignment with the supervision hours required by ASAM.
  • Assists program manager in completing annual evaluations for all nurses & technicians.
  • Provides on-call support to the unit as scheduled.
  • Responsible for completing payroll timely and correctly.
  • Provides training and orientation to the assigned team of nurses & technicians, including onboarding and training coordination to new staff.
  • Assists in hiring and recruiting process, including facilitating interviews.
  • Manages the nursing & technician schedule and always ensures appropriate coverage.
  • Oversees census reporting for InterCommunity and DMHAS.
  • Develops and leads in-service trainings with the entire team and leads program improvement initiatives.
  • Assists with nurse & technician duties on the unit and in triage.
  • Provides nursing support to nurses, including medication administration, admissions, assessments, and care coordination.
  • Assists with nursing coverage during staffing shortages.
  • Responsible for regular chart auditing to ensure documentation requirements are met.
  • Coordinates treatment with other providers to support Whole Person Healthcare.
  • Takes a lead in managing crisis situations on the unit.
  • Responsible for maintaining safety and cleanliness of the unit by timely submission of work orders.
  • Documents in the clinical record according to requirements of the regulatory agencies.
  • Responsible for oversight of closing out Epic charts.
  • May be required to transport clients in Agency vehicle.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
  • All agency staff must be awake during all scheduled hours.
  • All agency staff are required to attend all mandatory department/agency meetings and trainings.
