Nursing Supervisor, Nursing Services
About The Position
The Nursing Supervisor represents administration, directs facility operations, and supervises personnel in all departments when leadership or management staff are not present in the facility. The role serves as an administrative liaison to hospital departments, agencies, and physicians, and provides functional guidance to all units. The Nursing Supervisor supports decision-making concerning patient care services, non-clinical services, and staffing, and ensures that hospital policies and procedures are properly interpreted and applied. The position is part-time, with 12-hour shifts, variable days, and every-other-weekend requirements. It is a regular, non-exempt position with 30 weekly hours. The posted pay range is $104.86 to $146.80 per hour. Employees may handle hazardous drugs in accordance with NIOSH and USP 800 guidelines.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure for the state where care is provided.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- 12 years of recent relevant experience.
