Nursing Supervisor, Per Diem, Day Shift 6AM-6:30PM

About The Position

The House Supervisor monitors, coordinates, and supervises daily operations and activities. The role acts as a resource for team members and works closely with interdisciplinary teams to maintain best-practice workflows and minimize issues. The supervisor oversees nursing staff and shift scheduling on behalf of nursing leadership, supports collaboration and problem-solving across departments, and helps maintain a safe environment and quality patient care.

Requirements

Valid California RN license.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Three or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal relationships that enhance communication, promote conflict resolution, and facilitate staff development.

Nice To Haves

PALS certification.
Master’s degree in Nursing.
One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

Supervise nursing staff and schedule shifts and day-to-day duties on behalf of nursing leadership.
Perform administrative duties, including scheduling nursing shifts.
Collaborate with other departments and programs to achieve interdisciplinary improvements.
Maintain a safe environment for staff and patients through awareness of surroundings and participation in the safety program.
Identify and address patient concerns, questions, and suggestions to ensure quality care is delivered.
Collaborate to problem-solve and make decisions to achieve desired outcomes.
Establish effective working relationships with cross-functional teams.
