This exclusive program is designed for Nursing Students set to graduate in May 2027, offering a unique opportunity to gain direct patient care experience while still in school. The program begins in Junior Year with an application, interview, and Patient Care Tech assessment. During Summer 2026, selected students will complete a fully paid, 10-week full-time training program. In their Senior Year, participants will work a minimum of one shift per week as a Patient Care Technician (PCT). Upon graduation and pre-NCLEX, participants will transition into a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) placement at one of DaVita's Hospital Services Programs across Connecticut. The PCT role involves providing direct one-on-one dialysis treatment, monitoring patients, setting up hemodialysis machines, and educating patients on kidney dialysis topics, all under the supervision of an RN. DaVita emphasizes a community-first culture, diversity, belonging, and a commitment to ESG practices, including patient care, teammate engagement, environmental stewardship, healthy communities, and leading with integrity.
