About The Position

Fairview is hiring a Nursing Station Technician/Monitor Tech for the Heart Care Unit at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, Minnesota. The role is 56 hours per two weeks, with 8-hour rotating day/evening shifts (7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.) and work every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). The Heart Care Unit has 33 beds and cares for patients whose average stay is 2.5 days. The unit prepares and recovers patients for stress tests, echocardiograms, and cardiac procedures, including diagnostic angiograms and stent placement, ablations, pacemaker and ICD insertions, and open-heart surgery.
