Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining the organization and administrative operations of the nursing office
  • Manage phone triage, including receiving and routing calls related to physicians and hospital coordination under supervision
  • Maintain and update electronic systems, including scanning and logging medical documentation into EMR
  • Support ordering and inventory management of medical supplies, including injectable and implant tracking
  • Process purchase requisitions, match invoices and packing slips, and ensure proper approvals
  • Act as liaison between vendors and internal teams (Patient Care Coordinators, Office Managers, Supply Chain, Facilities, Nursing Leadership)
  • Monitor and communicate scheduling changes, equipment needs, and inventory issues to leadership (ONM, AONM, DON)
  • Coordinate equipment repairs, track progress, and manage associated documentation and approvals
  • Maintain and log implant returns and assist with monthly injectable inventory reporting
  • Coordinate with anesthesia group to provide updated OR schedules
  • Assist with surgical equipment reservations and coordinate logistics with Facilities Management
  • Support nursing leadership with clearances, lab work, and daily staffing adjustments
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and assist in implementing process improvements
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of Nextech; generate reports as requested
  • Take meeting minutes and assist with preparation and coordination of quarterly nursing meetings
