Nursing Manager RN
About The Position
The Nursing Manager is a Registered Nurse with 24-hour administrative responsibility for managing nursing service functions in the Med/Surg - Telemetry departments at Holy Family Medical Center. The manager supervises, assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care delivery; develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance; and supervises and evaluates unit personnel. The role includes effectively utilizing nursing personnel and time, and is directly accountable to the CNO/DON. The manager communicates effectively in writing and verbally with staff, physicians, and administration.
Requirements
- Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintained as current.
- At least two years of supervisory or management experience.
- At least three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical or acute care setting.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) upon hire and maintained as current.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for hires after 1/11/2021.
