About The Position

The Nursing Manager is responsible for the 24-hour management of the assigned unit, ensuring patient care meets the standard of care. The role supports safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, and provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Patient-centered care and service excellence guide nursing practice.

Texoma Medical Center is a 414-bed acute care facility serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma, with its main campus in Denison, Texas. The hospital offers specialty services including open heart surgery, neurosurgery, and certified trauma care. This is a full-time opportunity with full benefits and a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
• At least three years of acute emergency department clinical experience.
• At least two years of progressive management experience.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certifications.
• Successfully pass any pre-employment assessments required by the facility.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care or services appropriate to the ages of patients served on the assigned unit or department.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).
