Oregon Rural Healthcare is seeking experienced nursing leaders to join their network and help build a better way for rural healthcare. This application connects professionals with current or upcoming rural healthcare positions throughout Oregon that align with their experience and goals. By joining the Rural Staffing Services Talent Network, you contribute to a more thoughtful and connected approach to rural recruitment, enabling experienced nursing leaders and Oregon healthcare organizations to find each other more quickly. Every application strengthens a network of individuals willing to bring their experience, leadership, resilience, and heart to rural communities. Rural Staffing Services partners with various rural healthcare organizations across Oregon to identify experienced nursing leaders who understand the unique needs of rural care. We are currently seeking professionals interested in nurse manager, nursing supervisor, house supervisor, director of nursing, nursing education, and related nursing leadership opportunities. These roles may be within Critical Access Hospitals, rural and community hospitals, Rural Health Clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers, public hospital districts, regional health systems, skilled nursing facilities, long-term care and senior care organizations, integrated rural healthcare systems, and multi-site and regional healthcare networks. In rural Oregon, nursing leaders are often highly visible and trusted individuals who support frontline employees, maintain safe staffing, strengthen communication, solve problems, and ensure dependable patient care. They may support teams across multiple departments, clinics, facilities, or communities, coordinating care between rural clinics and regional hospitals, responding to staffing shortages, and helping teams work safely with limited specialty resources. Rural nursing leadership demands flexibility, sound judgment, compassion, and the ability to build trust. The strongest leaders are approachable, steady under pressure, and willing to work alongside their teams while maintaining clear expectations and accountability. Supporting nurses is directly linked to protecting patient access and keeping essential services available close to home.
