About The Position

Candidate must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a long term care facility. PRIMARY PURPOSE: Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject areas assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

Requirements

• Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long term care facility
• Bachelor's degree from accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate, with required endorsements for subject/level assigned
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
• At least one year of student teaching or approved internship

Nice To Haves

• ESL endorsement preferred
