About The Position

Aviata at Shoal Creek is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to manage the facility in Crestview, Florida. The role is resident- and family-focused and calls for a team builder who is interested in helping develop the facility’s culture. The administrator oversees the facility’s clinical and administrative operations and leads staff in providing quality resident care.

The administrator is responsible for financial and programmatic goals, regulatory compliance, staffing, and ongoing improvement of facility systems and processes. The position also involves educating, mentoring, and developing facility leaders and team members.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as a Nursing Home Administrator.
• At least three years of experience as an administrator in a long-term or subacute care facility.
• Demonstrated skills in management, planning, budgeting, marketing, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to facility management and team members.
• Oversee the facility’s day-to-day clinical and administrative activities, including profit-and-loss responsibility and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Lead facility staff in providing quality resident care.
• Establish financial and programmatic goals and conduct an annual evaluation of goal achievement.
• Recruit, hire, and provide orientation and training for staff to carry out facility programs and services.
• Maintain and guide implementation of facility policies and procedures in compliance with corporate, state, federal, and other regulatory guidelines.
• Develop and implement new ideas and concepts to improve systems and processes and achieve superior results.
