About The Position
James Madison University (JMU) School of Nursing invites applications for a 10-month renewable term appointment at the rank of Lecturer beginning August 10, 2027. The School of Nursing offers CCNE-accredited Baccalaureate, Master’s, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. This position will primarily support the Traditional BSN pathway. Requirements
- A minimum of a graduate degree in Nursing is required.
- An active RN license and eligibility for Virginia nursing licensure are required.
- Virginia RN licensure must be obtained by the position’s start date of August 10, 2027.
- At least three years of recent clinical experience in adult health nursing.

- Teaching experience and flexibility to teach across a variety of topic areas is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Teaching, with opportunities to participate in scholarship, and professional, community, and/or university service.
- In-person teaching in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings for the Traditional BSN pathway.
