About The Position

The Nursing Director assumes responsibility for the management and direction of inpatient nursing service units and is accountable for the patient care delivery environment in assigned areas. The role manages the human and fiscal resources allocated to those areas and establishes and implements standards of practice that comply with regulatory agencies, overall direction, goals, budgets, and quality-of-service expectations. The Nursing Director demonstrates and encourages teamwork and exceptional patient and guest experiences, and upholds and promotes patient safety and quality.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Alabama.
• Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
• Five to seven years of experience in nursing and/or nursing management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guests.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

• Master's degree.
