Nursing Assistant (NA) / Nights
About The Position
Regency Hospital - Macon is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Nursing Assistants provide compassionate care to patients during vulnerable stages of recovery. This is a full-time night position in Macon, Georgia, scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with compensation of $16.41 to $20.00 per hour. Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- BLS required within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience as a nursing assistant.
- Nursing assistant certification.
- Experience in a related field, such as medical assistant work or active enrollment as an RN student.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient services including bathing with basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
- Participate in hourly rounds.
- Transport patients to and from treatment centers when necessary and assist transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
- Maintain the cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
- Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
- Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
