About The Position

The Nursing Assistant provides patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Care focuses on personal hygiene, nutritional needs, and activities of daily living. This is a part-time position working 12-hour night shifts.

Requirements

• Completion of geriatric aid certification and an active listing on the State of Iowa Nurse Aide Registry, or eligibility for listing; alternatively, currently be enrolled in an A.D.N. or B.S.N. program and meet the stated nursing-course completion criteria, or be a graduate of an A.D.N., diploma, B.S.N., or L.P.N. program.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
• Flexibility to meet department needs.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Nursing Assistant experience is preferred.
