PCU Nursing Assistant, Full-Time

About The Position
The Nursing Assistant performs direct and indirect patient care tasks delegated by a Registered Nurse and works under the Registered Nurse’s direction and supervision. The role provides basic patient care, including bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding and hydration, ambulation, and positioning. The Nursing Assistant also supports patient safety and satisfaction by making regular rounds on the nursing unit and communicating effectively with all team members.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Responsibilities
- Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
- Provide bathing and hygiene care.
- Assist with elimination and toileting.
- Assist with nutrition, feeding, and hydration.
- Assist with ambulation and positioning.
- Make regular rounds on the nursing unit to support patient safety and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with all team members.
