About The Position

The Nursing Assistant performs direct and indirect patient care tasks delegated by a Registered Nurse and works under the RN's direction and supervision. The role provides basic patient care, supports patient safety and satisfaction through regular rounds on the nursing unit, and communicates effectively with all team members.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Provide basic patient care, including bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding and hydration, and ambulation and positioning.
• Perform regular patient rounds on the nursing unit to support patient safety and satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with all team members.
