Nursing Assistant 2D Neuro FT Nights
About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant for its 2D Neuro unit. The role is 36 hours per week on night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and is benefit eligible. Under general supervision and according to established procedures, the Nursing Assistant functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of a nurse. The position provides delegated aspects of patient care and performs routine non-patient-care unit maintenance tasks. The 2D Neuro unit provides personalized, patient-centered care to adult patients in a collaborative environment. The interdisciplinary team cares for patients with conditions including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, transient ischemic attacks, seizures and epilepsy, degenerative neurological disorders, autoimmune conditions, and other central nervous system disorders. The unit is a certified Primary Stroke Center.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent, or CNA qualification; preferred but not required.
