About The Position
TUH-Jeanes Campus, located in Northeast Philadelphia, provides advanced medical and surgical services in a community setting. As a member of Temple Health, it offers specialized services like advanced cardiac, neurologic, and orthopedic surgery. The campus is known for its experienced doctors and dedicated staff who deliver cutting-edge treatments and diagnostics with a compassionate, personal touch. This role assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to unlicensed nursing support staff and other specific functions for which the assistant is prepared. The position also involves incorporating the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all patient care activities and is accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required
- Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
- Basic Life Support Required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role
- Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
Responsibilities
