Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Nursing Assistant Certification & Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications are required

Nice To Haves

• Passion for Patient Care
• Prior or recent Nursing Assistant experience preferred
• In lieu of Nursing Assistant certification, will accept prior/recent nursing assistant experience OR completion of one year of a formal RN program

Responsibilities

• Function under the supervision of the licensed Registered Nurse and provides basic nursing care to ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of our patients.
• Be able to recognize, obtain, document, and report data to appropriate staff.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to meet the needs of patients and optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.
