About The Position

Work at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI as a Nursing Assistant (CNA, NA) on an inpatient Medical Surgical unit. Provide care to both medical and surgical patients, assisting Registered Nurses. Responsibilities include direct physical care, basic nursing procedures, assisting with activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, patient mobility, intentional rounding, and performing 12 lead ECGs. You will also interact and engage with visitors, patients, and their family members to establish a trusting relationship and provide high-quality care. This is a part-time position (.60 FTE, 24 hours/week) with variable day/evening shifts and requires weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements

• Graduate of State of Wisconsin approved Nurse Aid Training Program
• 1 year of recent experience as a Nursing Assistant
• Listed on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire
• BLS/CPR certification within 3 months

Responsibilities
