We are a team of caregivers and support staff who provide an enriching and compassionate environment to the Adrian Dominican Sisters in their home at the Dominican Life Center, our nursing/retirement home environment. Our Sisters live in assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing communities and we take great pride in providing our Sisters with the best care and environment in their retirement. Requirements
- Experience in home care, geriatric care, long-term care or nursing facility.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks typically performed in CNA work.
- Must undergo background check and drug screen.
- Mandatory yearly (employer paid) flu vaccine and TB test.
Nice To Haves
- No certification needed for this caregiver role.
Responsibilities
- Provide our retired Sisters with daily nursing and personal care typical of a Nursing Assistant, Nurse Aide, Resident Aide, Home Health Aide, or CNA.
- Be trained and work alongside a team of Nursing Assistants, LPN's and RN's who all have a love for geriatric and long-term care.
