About The Position

The Nursing Assistant assists with or provides for patients’ activities of daily living. The role performs hygiene-related activities, serves meals and assists patients with special feeding needs, and maintains a safe, neat patient environment, including making beds. The Nursing Assistant also helps gather patient assessment data, including collecting specimens and obtaining and recording vital signs, responds to patient call lights, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must complete 24 hours of education required by the Board of CNA Certification.
• Must maintain current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Nurse Aide Course certification or previous experience approved by the nursing director preferred.

Responsibilities
