About The Position

Maplewood Senior Living is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on care and service to residents according to their individual service plans. The role involves supporting residents with daily care needs, fostering engagement, working with the nursing team, and helping maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment. The position is full-time, from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., in the Resident Care department in Chardon, Ohio.

Requirements

Experience and passion in working with seniors.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
Good physical and emotional health and freedom from communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with care needs, including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining, and mobility support.
Engage residents through interaction and conversation, and through programs and activities.
Work with the nursing team to ensure residents' care needs are met.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment and assist with maintaining residents' rooms.
