About The Position
Maplewood Senior Living is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide exceptional care and service to residents who need hands-on assistance, following each resident’s individual service plan. The role involves supporting residents with daily care needs, fostering engagement, coordinating with the nursing team, and helping maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment. The position is full-time on the night shift in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
Requirements
- Experience and passion in working with seniors.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
- Good physical and emotional health and freedom from communicable diseases.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with care needs, including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining, and mobility support.
- Engage residents through interaction and conversation, as well as programs and activities.
- Work with the nursing team to ensure residents’ care needs are met.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment and assist residents with maintaining their rooms.
