About The Position

The Nursing Assistant provides patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Care focuses on personal hygiene, nutritional needs, and activities of daily living. This is a full-time day-shift position, with hours from 0700 to 1930. The schedule includes every third weekend and every third holiday.

Requirements

• Completion of geriatric aid certification and active or eligible status on the State of Iowa Nurse Aide registry; or current enrollment in an A.D.N. or B.S.N. program with the stated nursing-course completion; or graduation from an A.D.N., diploma, B.S.N., or L.P.N. program.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time and flexibility to meet department needs.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
