About The Position

Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital is recruiting a full-time Nursing Assistant to join its pediatric care team in Marlton, New Jersey. The position is benefit eligible and supports patients in a rehabilitation setting under the direct supervision of licensed personnel. Nursing Assistants provide basic patient care, assist patients with self-care activities, and reinforce the work of other rehabilitation disciplines as part of patients’ planned 24-hour activities. The role also includes secretarial, clerical, and receptionist duties consistent with the hospital’s administrative, clinical, and personnel policies and procedures. Nursing Assistants requisition and maintain supplies and equipment, schedule patient appointments, and communicate requested services and consultations to appropriate personnel. Available shifts are day shift, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and night shift, 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nurses Aid, Medical Assistant, or Multi Skilled Technician training certificate; evidence of enrollment in nursing school or another allied health care profession; or a minimum of four weeks of documented on-the-job training.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities
