About The Position

Encompass Health is hiring a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, personalized care and support registered nurses as patients progress through rehabilitation. The role involves helping patients with daily activities and treatments, communicating concerns to nurses, and building relationships with patients and families to support recovery. The position offers access to technology and a collaborative team environment. Full-time night and PRN positions are available.

Requirements

• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with patients and treatments as needed.
• Help patients with daily personal activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Prepare and transport patients.
• Communicate patient concerns to nurses.
• Build relationships with patients and their families and understand their needs to facilitate recovery.
• Recognize and celebrate patients’ recovery milestones.
